After feeling sick for almost a week I believe I am finally on the mend.
I am now able to sit up and watch a little TV and get back to visiting mylot .
I am eating better than I have for a long time and think that perhaps my body did a complete shutdown and reboot as not only am I eating but I'm no longer eating to excess and feel better for it.
I still feel weak but that comes from spending so much time in bed allowing my body to recover.
To those of you who have shared their thoughts and prayers, I appreciate it all.
To those of you who are reading this post as my first, I appreciate that you took the time to read it.
It's Fall here in Minnesota and looking outside is like looking at a whole new world.
Fall and winter are my favorite seasons of the year.
Fall because of the many colors in the trees and crisp air
Winter because of the ability to feel home comforts such as a hot cup of cocoa at the end of winter's night.
There's something to be said about those crisp nights and colorful days of fall and the home memories that are made in the depths of winter.

I am sorry you have been so ill. Hopefully you will regain strength soon.. It's hard to be sick. Glad you didn't require hospitalization.

me too I'm glad I didn't need hospitalization either.
spending 3 hours in the Emergency room was bad enough.
I'm on the mend, the only thing that keeps me from my full life is a nagging cough.
Any tips to get rid of it would be greatly apreciated

Hot toddy--grandma's remedy helps! warm whiskey, hot water, a bit of lemon juice, and some honey. Drink it hot. Really, really helps your cough1
