Unusual Sounds

So, this morning about 6:30 AM there was a plane flying very low, and it was just buzzing and buzzing. It almost sounded like a drone. It was still dark though so I had no idea why they would have been flying then. We get very little plane traffic out here anyway not on a flight route..just some tourist planes in season. That really had me wondering. Then we were out to breakfast, and when leaving and at the gas station we heard people singing hymns and so forth..although there are no nearby churches. Maybe they were at a house church or something...but there were alot of people involved I would say 50 or so. I know there is a church off to the left of where we were, but we weren't really that close to it. Hmmm. Heard any unusual sounds lately?

Wow that sounds very eerie Snowy, almost like something was about to happen..wow
Freaky.
No not unusual sounds just loud neighbors, fireworks, cops, ambulances, the highway and so on

I was awake for a bit while it was very dark out and heard what I thought was shattering glass, then it was quiet. I didn't get up to look around, since it didn't sound close, but I did walk around a bit later and saw nothing. My wife says I dreamed it,

I was definitely awake. The cat was running around meowing. He is around to make sure I don't sleep in. 
Maybe the glass happened in a window or something you couldn't see from the street.

That is what I was thinking, but it really sounded like a fairly big group. I wonder if it could have been a recording somebody was playing on a stereo with speakers?

@just4him It was a nice day...but it really sounded like a group of 23-50. House church groups aren't usually that large. I almost felt like hunting for the church or group, because I was intrigued,,,but just drove home instead.

That is a bit curious, but noise can travel in strange ways sometimes making them sound closer than they actually are. I once lived in a place where the fire station was several miles away, but you could hear it very clearly on certain days.

Yeah, it was clear and a bit breezy. I was wondering if the wind might have carried the voices a bit.

A plane flew low over our neighborhood a couple of days ago. It was late afternoon. I wondered if it was the cops looking for a fugitive.

Well since it was pre dawn, I don't think they would have seen anything. The buzzing was in the sky but didn't really sound like your typical airplane. I wish it had been light so I could have seen the craft.

There is a landing strip a couple of miles from here, they optimistically call an airport but not really the ti!me of year for it to be in use.

@Vree0937 It is possible but I wouldn't think a jet would make a buzzing noise like that. They were probably trying to land at that airstrip, but why before it was even light?

@snowy22315 maybe some private jet land on it. These days many people or corporation own their private jet. Or rent it to avoid covid
