Losing Things

I seem to be losing things the past few days. Definitely not fun.
Monday night, I misplaced my access card and ID for my condominium unit. It is a big pain in the behind! I wanted to punch myself in the face. Only found out that I lost my keycard and ID when I was in the condo lobby already. Good thing is that the guards and front desk are familiar with me so I got a free pass. Will be going early this morning in the condo admin office to sort this one out.
Yesterday, I got a cake for a planned get together at the office on Friday. I paid for it and got the receipt. When I got back to the office, I had lost the receipt for the cake! Unbelievable! Good thing, I was able to call the cake shop and tell them that I lost the receipt and again, since the person who assisted me, remembered me and said that she will just leave a note and endorse the matter to her team members so I can just drop by and claim the cake that I ordered.
Not sure if this is age catching up or I'm just being reckless, but it ain't usually my nature to misplace things.
Anyway, I'm glad that my you know what are attached otherwise, I might be looking for it as well.

Have you lost something and it ticked you off?

Not recently. However, it's part of being human.

I am always misplacing things, but generally they are found fairly quickly...Thankfully.

You are so busy no wonder you lose stuff.
I am not losing anything lately.
But I have in the past because of being so busy working and so on.
Thank goodness they remembered you.

I lost my sanity years ago but that hasn't really caused me too many problems... yet. I'm not going to bet that you haven't lost your sanity, too.

Maybe you need to organize more or put all important stuff in a small organizer. I tend to forget things too, and sometimes I put a note in my phone note to remind myself.

Yes I find it hard to look for my ATM card. Just to realize later that I left it in my trousers pocket for I changed clothes.

@allen0187 That's right. It takes a month to get a replacement here in our place.

Do you have to pay for replacements of those access card and ID?
Do they have to be blocked so others cannot use them?

Yup, I paid for the replacement. The first one that were issued were free.
Yes, they deactivated the access card so it cannot be used to enter the premises.
