I found a wall paint in Porta Vaga, Baguio City, Philippines. I was so fascinated how the artist showed an Igorot boy wearing his G-string and tribal vest in his painting. He also viewing the mountain terrains here. What kind of painting do you appreciate more? How can you interpret this painting?

I do like going to museums. Whenever I am traveling, I always visit these places. Galleries are one of the best things to ponder by a traveler.

It's a great painting, simple but very meaningful, and the boy is cute.

It seems that he did well except for the foot backward. I think the artist needs to add the right popliteal fossa or the back of the right knee.

Mountains i think are always one of the highest place....a place where people don't think or worry about the petty little things but instead think about things having a higher or greater cause. So i guess this boy also wish to reach that place.

You have a point. He might be daydreaming about what he wants to be in the future.

The artist wants that people remember how the country was at its origins, not what it is becoming influenced by other nations. I agree, we should never lose our original traditions.

It's a nice painting, but the feet are backwards.
