Enjoying the Rain on This Quiet Thursday

Rained all night, and all morning. Should be off and on the rest of the day. And for the next few days.
Not a problem for me. I enjoy the sound of a light rain on the roof.
A quiet day in the neighborhood so far. Only the sound of the raindrops.
No plans for today. My schedule is clear. A good day for sure.

No rain here yet, but it is on it's wa. It was sunny just half an hour ago, and now clouding up.

We have some respite from the rain during daytime. However clouds visit us every evening and we do get to listen to the raindrops for some time.

@CarolDM We had to do a bit of travel in the rain, and my husband didn't know the roads he was driving on. I had to remind him that fallen leaves and wet roads make for a treacherous combination. I know that one from experience-- having spun a car under such conditions.

I love the sound of rain at night... Sadly, it keeps hubby awake! Funny how it can affect people differently!

Today was the first time we had the sun out about half the day. As it started getting dark there were more storm clouds moving in from the mountains. Just like you I love it when we have rain at night. Just listening to it helps me fall asleep.
My boyfriend bought me one of the little white noise machines with like 5 or 6 different sound choices to pick from. I always turn on the rain one if I can't fall asleep. When I hear that I can fall asleep in a minute
