How people behave, their likes and dislikes, or the way they handle certain situations can be interesting, fun, and even strange. We all have our own way of doing things and we make decisions based on our belief systems or what we find appealing to us. So, here are a couple of topic's I'm wondering about... You could say Halloween inspired this post! SUPERSTITIONS -Are you superstitious? If you are what makes you feel uncomfortable? Is it numbers, black cats, ladders, mirrors, spilling salt, or Friday the 13th? If not, do you believe in good luck charms? If yes what kind do you have? With me I'm superstitious about numbers as I associate certain ones with bad luck. It used to be 13 but somehow I don't mind that one anymore. Instead I have a thing about the number 9. I like my numbers rounded off and "9" to me is a bad vibe. I'm also not crazy about the number 3 either. Guess I haven't totally gotten "13" out of my system. lol. On the positive side I like all the even numbers especially 4 and 7. HORROR MOVIE CHARACTERS -Whose your favorite creepy character? I have to go with a couple of oldies but goodies in Frankenstein and Dracula. The iconic Boris Karloff played the original Frankenstein in 1931. The first time I saw the film as a kid on TV it scared the heck out of me. And then there's Bella Lugosi with that unique foreign accent who was the perfect Dracula character with no one else close in my view. For a more modern character I choose Jason Voorhees the hockey mask sword wielding character who terrorizes and kills the camp kids. Ok, time to share your answers and compare. "Boo!" @dgobucks226 — a favorite horror movie character? Sure, that blonde 19-year-old girl who hears a noise in the woods and runs out to see what it is, wearing just her underwear. Seriously, no. The Birds destroyed any hope of me ever watching horror movies.

Not superstitious in the least...favorite horror movie character hmmm, I guess Dracula...who can resist the lure of the teeth and big cape. I used to love Dark Shadows scary soap on when I was a kid...although my favorite character was Quentin...I had a Barnabas Collins game complete with coffins and vampire teeth...lol.

@dgobucks226 I didn't know that. The series is also on Tubi. I didn't know it was on Prime, gonna have to check it out. The girl who played Amy Denise Nickerson was also in the first Willy Wonka.

@dgobucks226 Yes, she had had a stroke, and may have OD'd. She looked like she was at least 80, not well at all.

I'm not superstitious and stay away from anything that has a connection with demons, such as movies, books or anything else.

I'm not superstitious, but I don't like the number 666. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Have you ever watched any of the horror movies that come out around Halloween time? Michael Myers was another favorite of mine from the Halloween series of films.

@dgobucks226 No. I can't do horror. Now, what they called horror when I was a kid is tame by today's standards. That I can handle.

I'm not really superstitious but I must "knock on wood" when I say something that I don't want to actually happen. I don't have a favorite creepy character. I love the "B" sci fi/horror flicks.

@dgobucks226 I haven't so far this year. I usually do; but we've been watching the Fantasy Fest revelry (October 22-31) via webcam from Key West.

Not really anything here. My black cat, the Dude has never been any source of bad luck. No superstitions. I do not like the creepy shows. Kind of a boring answer for you.

I am not superstitious and 13 is a lucky birth number for me so since I was born on a Friday all Friday the 13 are supposed to be especially lucky days for me My two favourite horror characters are Dracula and Frankenstein

Yes, Superstitions are positive too aren't they as the phrase "knock on wood" can attest to. Throwing salt over your shoulder for good luck is another one. Aha, you went with the classics like me! Just watched an Oldie from 1941 Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
