Whether they are wearing suits or thawb or hanfu or whatever cultural garment, men about the world are in the constant business of warring against each other for power domination. How fascinating they walk as if dignity is synonymous with poise, when in fact, their minds scamper to try to annihilate the other. For us spectators, we could only cross our fingers and sigh. But yesterday, there was a prolonged gasp as news broke out showing China's hypersonic missile test five times the speed of sound. Can circumnavigate the orbit before landing with precision on target. No doubt it's somewhere in the USA. America is upfront is expressing another 'Sputnik moment' quite similar to Russia's satellite launch in 1957. Uh Oh! For someone who dwells in Asia, specifically, on an archipelago southeast of the Pacific, I shouldn't worry much. But I do! That deep impact could reverberate around the world within minutes. Meaning, China, for all its capabilities of showing nuke strength, has none to gain in a world already totally devastated. What is the power domination for, China, when there's none to dominate?
The top US military officer, General Mark Milley, has officially given confirmation of a Chinese hypersonic weapons test and called it "very concerning."#US ...

This weaponry takes so much money! We'd better try to cooperate , a war with these weapons would be devastating

North Korea, Kim Jung Un's country oblivious to the world outside, reportedly, has been advised to cut down on food consumption because of scarcity of food. Looks like the bevy of missiles the tyrant loves to parade each year are not edible. One less worry for the other armies of the world. The North Korean forces would be matchstick thin and limp.

@db20747 The Chinese armaments alone at the Indo-China border are staggering. I couldn't comprehend any longer why Chinese soldiers will endure four months of winter cut out from more food supply just to secure the weaponry they aligned against the Indians. As if India will steal the border! If those soldiers took to farming and livestock, the world will have better produce than plastic cabbages.

The G20 is on a summit, as well as the COP 26 in Glasgow, Scotland. There are more pressing issues for the benefit of mankind than armaments. Truly very, very unfortunate men such as Xi Jing Pin and Vladimir Putin and Jail Bolsonaro are no show. But really, what could be expected of tyrants!
