My trip to the mall

I tumbled down the hill to the bus stop but when I got there I realised I didn't have a mask, so crawled back up the hill. I grabbed a mask and my bundle buggy (forgot that too) and tumbled down the hill for a second time. (It's very steep.)
When the bus came, I put my pass in the slot and a loud noise went off. My pass was all used up and I didn't even notice. But the driver let me get on anyway.
There was a bumble bee across the aisle from me. She was wearing a very short skirt and got off a couple stops before the mall.
The mall was full of tall people, and not tall just because I'm short. There was a guy who must have been 7' tall, and a woman in the food court who could easily have been 6' tall.
I did my shopping and on the way out I passed a big plump ear of corn monitoring the self-checkouts in the grocery store. She was surprised I knew what she was. (I'm pretty smart.)
Then coming home I took the wrong bus. (They have different numbers on weekends than they do during the week.) It got me home straight away, back to the bottom of the hill. The one I should have taken would have taken a round-about way but would have left me at a level crossing.
I dragged myself and my full bungle buggy up that hill (I think it got steeper while I was shopping) and now I'm home, and my back is hurting again.
Tylenol 3 today.

Yes and yes. I hurt my back a few times when I was younger, plus I have degenerative disk disease and arthritis.

@BarBaraPrz My daughter has 2 disks out in her back which give her attacks of terrible pain at times so I know what you must suffer. She has permanent pain killers.

Here they have disposable masks on the bus that they give you if you forget--which I have. I went and bought a whole package of disposable masks one time so that I could get on the bus, and when I did I was told that.

I went to an outlet mall yesterday and there were hoards of people taking their children to the stores for trick or treating. It was almost impossible to walk into a store behind a family of 4 or 5 and safely make it to the sanitization station just inside of the door.
I have heard of others complaining that adults were taking their kids out this past week, that is insane.
I hope that you can rest the remainder of your day and feel better.

Although I heard a few kids out there, none came up the steps and knocked on my door. So I get to eat all the KitKat bars myself.

Hi, that was a good day you had. I usually have an extra pair of mask in my bag just in case my one tears off or if I misplace it or something.

I had two in my bag, but took them out as they were getting a bit "shopworn". But I forgot to put in a new, clean one.
