In Search Of Pine Cones

One of the Youtube channels that I follow is having a gnome ornament make-along tomorrow evening. I need pine cones for the mini project so I went to Family Dollar to see if there were any in the Christmas section. Nope. Then, I went to Dollar General and all they had were pine cone ornaments in a 9-pack. They were not very big and I think that the yarn I will be using will be a bit overwhelming for a little not even 2-inch pine cone. So, it looks like I will be going alllllllllll the way to the south end of town to either Hobby Lobby (which is closed on Sunday) tomorrow, or Joanne's Fabrics which is even further south. Hobby Lobby has a fair-sized holiday section so I ought to be able to find what I need. Might even pick up some more yarn for a couple of lap blankets.
