Day 143 Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one who feared God, and eschewed evil. 2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. 3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. 4 And his sons went and feasted in their houses, everyone his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. 5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus, did Job continually. Do you pray for your loved ones daily? Do you know someone who prayed for you daily? Job was a man of great wealth who reverenced God in everything he did. He sacrificed daily to God for his children and brought them before God. As Christians, do people see you as a praying person who prays for others? Do you pray for your loved ones, for their salvation and close relationship with Jesus Christ? Prayer keeps you close to God when the enemy is close on your doorstep, seeking to destroy you and your family. Job prayed daily. He didn’t wait for something to happen to bring him to his knees. Let Job’s example bring you to your knees for your loved ones and friends. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Let’s pray: Father, help me pray for my loved ones and friends every day. Let me know the joy of close fellowship with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 2 November 2021 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay.

Prayer is simple but yet powerful. God answers the prayer of faith.

I always pray for my entire family, relatives and some friends. To constantly pray and repent is what God likes humans to do.
