Vacation over

...and a little orange cat woke me up earlier than I wanted.
For the past eleven days, my husband has had a vacation from work. The first vacation he's taken voluntarily. While he told me this morning that he wasn't looking forward to going back to work, I could tell by the end, he was starting to get bored.
However, I've been having one of those days where if it can go wrong it is. Starting with Chilly walking all over me because he thinks it's fun. Woke me up an hour earlier than I wanted to be. He also must've knocked my phone off the charger just enough so it wouldn't charge. So the battary died completely.
Hoping the rest of the days goes better.

That’s a cat for you. Hope you have a good day. Say hi to the beach for me. I spent my teenage years in Daytona Beach.

Lived here eighteen or so years, and have never been to the beach, itself. Been to the beachside several times.

He didn't knock the phone off the charger. It was off the charger, because he spent the night secretly texting all of his cat friends. Then, he deleted the messages and decided to wake you up early so that you would be too groggy to even think to question him about what he was up to overnight.

Oh yes George is so used to working but he needed that vacation I am sure.

So far it has. My phone isn't fully charged, but I'll plug it in tomorrow, or make sure it's on the charger, right next time.

I think that you deserve a nice relaxing day. I had a cat years ago that woke us up hours before anyone wanted to get up. I still wake up too early now!!

Oh yeah. I'm well aware of how cats will take the lead in cases like that. Mine are pretty good about letting me sleep, but they know when it's time to eat.

I hope that his vacation helped him to be recharged. Eleven days vacation is a grand.
