Too chilly for little Coco

Today it is quite a cold day. Coco is still in his hutch keeping nice and warm. During the winter months he stays sheltered in the greenhouse as it is slightly warmer in there, and it takes the edge off the chill during the night.
If the sun shows it’s face later on today I might let him have a run around in the garden, but he seems so content just sat hiding under the straw and hay in his hutch.
I am almost hibernating myself. I am staying warm inside. Coco doesn’t come inside the house very often as I am actually allergic to him! I am allergic to his fur, but I still handle him as much as I can. I try not to let my allergy affect him. It isn’t his fault

@LadyDuck thank you! He does like the fuss that my nephews make of him when they visit

We've been staying in the house the last few days, too. The cold weather doesn't bother me as much as it does my daughter, Pretty, but I'm still used to the beautiful summer we had this year.
I understand about being allergic to Coco... I'm allergic to pet dander, too. Pretty really wants a cat or dog and she just can't have one. I have fishies and that's enough pets for us.

@Danielclark691 My eyes swell shut when I have allergic reactions. I need to see to be able to do anything useful.

I do what can due to my allergy. I don't let it stop me cuddling him.

Yes I am the same with coco. Small price to pay for his affection, even though he does nibble me!

That's such a cute picture of Coco. Hope he stays warm in his hutch. I'm sure he's a lot of fun to have as a pet

@Danielclark691 that must be really funny to watch. Rabbits can certainly run fast

@Danielclark691 I suppose we should be thankful for having a warm place to hibernate.

@Danielclark691 Oh I can see now, as you said 'rabbit' , surprisingly I can make out his nostrils in the image and Coco's face is super clear to me now.

I think he would just munch his way through a blanket.
