Online learning is taxing

I find online learning so taxing. I'm in charge of tutoring my grandkid who is in elementary school. The teacher do go online for an hour, but the lesson is so fast and not well-explained due to time constraint. So, I would rather tutor than allow him to attend a face to face class. At least at home, I'm sure he's safe. I just wish the assignments won't be so long, and the texts bigger, so I won't have a difficult time reading. What about you? Are you using online teaching in your area? What do you think of it?
