One thing I’ve noticed about this countdown of songs with “magic” in the title: lots of hits. There’s only one obscure song on the list, and it’s coming up later. Meanwhile, here’s one of those songs that may be forgotten. From the “blast from the past” department, here’s today’s song. #5: Strange Magic - Electric Light Orchestra One of those great songs of the 70s that sadly got left in the 70s. This isn’t one of the ELO songs you’ll hear anymore. And that’s a shame, because it’s a good one. Right on the heels of their “breakthrough” hit “Evil Woman” ELO changed gears and gave us a ballad-like tune. Now, like their other early ballad hit “Can’t Get It Out of My Head,” this one is barely remembered. But I hope you remember it.
