November 8 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been good. No, I'm not giving you my weight yet. Maybe tomorrow.
I'm thankful for the therapy visit this morning. She was happy with me. I lost an inch plus on my legs over the weekend. We're trying something new with the tubers, foam under the right leg that is the most swelled, and where the blood clot is.
I'm thankful I got all the Christmas cards in the mail. They'll go out tomorrow since the mailman was already here when I put them in the box. If anyone wants to receive a card, pm me, and I will get one out to you.
I'm thankful for the two naps I had today. I was awake at midnight and gave up and got up at 2. I got an hour and a half before my appointment this morning and another 2.5-hour nap around noon. Lots of sleep. I needed it I guess.
Okay, that's my day. I did some notifications this morning, but I need to get to work on Wilderness Call. If I can, I will return today, or I will see you tomorrow.

I'm mostly thankful for having a generally good day. I'm also finding new things to love about my iPhone and Apple Watch.

@LadyDuck Probably. She's also hindered due to the clot. She messaged my doctor last Friday and still hadn't heard from him even after sending him more messages. I really don't like my doctor and would like to change. I looked at options a week ago and the choices aren't good, so I will stick with what I have. Not happy about that. I'm hoping today's visit will go well and I can get back to the pool. I stopped going when I went to the ER about the clot. I don't want to be in the pool and something happens.

I am thankful that my daughter in law is recovering from Covid and that my son and my grandsons all tested negative. Praise Jesus!!! Now I can worry less

@just4him I try not to worry. My favorite quote is "Faith Over Fear" but it's a hard one to actually put into daily life.

Let me know when you get it. It goes out today.
I don't usually get two naps in one day and not so much sleep. I guess Saturday really messed me up. I'm starting to pull out of the funk I was in over the party that basically didn't happen on Saturday. I'm glad my best friend came.
