Yellower than Yellow

A few weeks back, I saw a new flower bestowed upon me. This is a type of hibiscus that is commonly seen in Hawaii. No wonder why it is called 'Hawaiian Hibiscus.' To make it not complicated, Hawaiians just call it 'yellow hibiscus.' I guess I am lucky to see it and took a photo of it as a keepsake. I did not bother to ask how much it cost because it will surely cost an arm and a leg. Have you discovered new things in your life lately? Do you have this type of hibiscus in your garden or at your place?

That's a very, very pretty shade of yellow. I don't have any hibiscus at the moment.

I remembered when I was a child. My childhood friends, siblings, and I use them in making bubbles.

He or she must be the luckiest one who owns it. I read about it and it is endangered species now.

I don't have a garden here, since I live in a tiny apartment in a city. Maybe, in the next place, I will be able to do some container gardening, but that will be the extent of it. I think that my maternal grandmother's property had hibiscus. I think that one of my great-aunts, who was a serious gardener, grew them as well. Both had properties with significant yards, so there was plenty of room to grow all sorts of things. In the case of the latter, she and my great-uncle had a vegetable garden each year that took up probably about half-an-acre.
