Have you ever done something weird? / myLot

I was on the couch last night reading a book. Hubby came up the stairs after sitting in the car for a while and lay down next to me... I finished reading my book and was ready to turn on the TV so we can start watching the latest episode of Chicago PD we had recorded on DVR. I picked up the case for my eye glasses, pointed it at the TV, and was pressing on it as if there was a button.

Of course, the TV didn't turn on. Took a second to realize what I was doing... And this reminds me of this one time where I wanted to make a call to someone. I picked up the remote control and started pressing on the numbers as if I was making a phone call.

Obviously, that didn't work.

I've never done that but I have had my glasses on and couldn't find them. (I used to tease my mom about doing that. She didn't think it was funny when I'd tell her to go look in the mirror when she asked me to help her find her glasses.

) One day not long ago, I was using my phone as an ereader when it rang... I kept looking around for it so I could answer the phone.

I think the glasses bit, many do that lol. I was looking for my keys once and couldn't find them. They were in my hand the whole time.

When you are on the phone and are looking for your phone... ever happen to you?

The other day at work a truck driver asked me to sign a bill of lading, and I couldn't see the spot on the paperwork where to sign. I told him that I couldn't see so well without my glasses. He laughed and pointed to my face....I was wearing my glasses already! Looks like it's time to upgrade my prescription! lol

This is something that happened a few times to my husband. When I am distracted it happens that I put in the refrigerator things that should go in the cupboards... hard to find them later.

One time my dad couldn't find his wallet. We searched the whole house and couldn't find it. Thought he lost it. Then I opened the freezer to take something out and there it was on the top shelf.

@LadyDuck It was nice and fresh from the cold temps lol. I wonder for how long it had been in the freezer before I found it.
