Are you a neat writer? I used to be But now, when I write I am more like a child than when I was 5. My writing socks Bad eyes don't help, neither does my gout afflicted right hand, I try and use all upper case now. Is your writing getting worse as you get older? Is your writing neat? Are you like me and need to used lined paper? Let's have your writing stories so to speak

My handwriting gets worse all the time. The only time I actually write is in my journal, a grocery list and a paper check once a week or so.

@JimBo452020 I always loved using a fountain pen..don't think many do now...but it's just so much easier to type. Do you know the schools here don't teach kids how to write in cursive anymore?!! How will they have a legal signature? Do the schools there still teach it?

Vickie, I wrote a comment on your discussion twice but each time the comment disappeared and the word null came up.

I used to have beautiful hand writing but no more. I think its because of email and use of a keyboard. We’re out of practice

If we don't do something as often as we used to do we cannot expect to still be as good at it

My handwriting is neat, I do not need lined paper I can write straight without using lines. My husband handwriting is horrible, I am the only one who can read what he wrote.

I still havena good handwriting if I choose to, but I seldom write long phrases, I mostly type directly. I only write numbers most of the time. But I use ballpen most of the time to sign documents.

Terrible and I use Upper case too because actually make it looks neat to my chicken scratch. My old boss said it means I am a power freak and like to be in control and I was like how come did not get a raise? That is beloved in corporate America. Turns out she just liked me and she was worried I would do that to her and turns out I was not interested in her. She was not a main boss where she could fire me so I was safe.

My handwriting has gotten worse over the years. I used to have the most beautiful handwriting, but now I'm like you and it looks like a 5 year old's handwriting. I don't know if it's because I just write faster now and it looks more like scribble, or if it's because of something else. But either way, my handwriting sucks now.

@Faster16 Typing in capitals means shouting. Filling in a form in capitals is normal So is doing a shopping list. If anyone misunderstands a shopping list oe a form or a Xmas card as those are my main examples of writing And they get all prissy about it They can go **** themselves. I am fed up of people in this world making issues and dramas out of something because they misunderstand They need to get a life And stay out of mine

I've had good handwriting since I was a pupil/student and even when I started working. But when computers became the norm, we wrote less and less, except lists and reminders and authorization letters now and then. When I do write something now, it tends to be in all caps because when I write longhand/cursive, even I can't understand it. It's like my hand is in a hurry. In fact, even my signature is inconsistent. So when I need to sign something, I practice on a piece of paper first.

I could have written exactly what you just wrote here. All in Upper case of course That's why I like typing I might not type good but at least it is consistent and in straight lines

My penmanship is a bit hurried and slapdash, and that's putting it mildly. I used to take more pains with it, but I just scratch away and call it good, now. The only time I really take pains is when I write a letter or send a card to someone.

My hand writer has never been like that of artist when writing on signs and stuff. But it’s clearly not bad either. My hand writer is far better then my husband but I’m sure my 10 year old writes way better then me. If I rush myself it gets really messy like when I was 7 years old.

@JimBo452020 my husband writing is bad to the point I’m like what’s that. It was bad before he was a nurse. Some people say the way you write is a reflection of how smart your are. Like highly intelligent people are more messy with writing then someone that ain’t as intelligent. I don’t know how true that is.
