A Call that Still Haunting Me

I do not want to make it a fuss. I will make it into a short story. I received a call and it was my sister-in-law a few years back. She was crying and her older sister was killed by her lover. When I received this call, I cannot even say anything at first. Why it still haunts me because it is still an unsolved case up to this day. Anything that still haunts you? Image Credit: i.pinimg.com

Yes, the voice of the call still haunts you, because you are shocked to hear the sad news. Incidentally I have never experienced anything like you.

What a horrible thing to happen. You say it was unsolved but if her lover did it he should be in prison for life.

I hope that your sister in law's older sister murder gets solved. Not a call, but things gone missing...my balance stone, a colorful crystal stone 1" high and a quarter inch thick and my holy healing stones, 3 of them, just disappeared over night!

It was solved by incompetent investigators here. For us, we refused to acknowledge it.

I don't have such event that still haunt me, but I have some events that I would like to change if I were given the chance. If there was a time-machine, I would go back to that time and be more supportive and caring.

At that time, she cannot call anyone close to her heart and that includes my younger brother. Out of desperation, she called me up with this terrible news.
