This emerald corrugated heart-shaped foliage can make you check twice. How much more if it blooms. I heart this plant because it shows the real beauty under the sun. It is called 'peperomia caperata.' Unfortunately, it is not mine.
Would you like to have this rippled peperomia caperata?

That is very pretty. If I had the room for more plants indoors, I'd like having something that looks like that.

@Shavkat I don't have room for a bonsai... I hope you enjoy it.

It is a lovely plant.
Indoor plants and cats don't always mix very well, and our little boy is a dedicated climber. I'm not certain that there would be any place that I could put a plant and he not be able to figure out a way to launch himself onto it. When he calms down, though, maybe a few plants will find there way into our home.

@Shavkat Even my very mellow late boy was a nibbler. He was so well behaved, but he could not resist the siren song of green plants.
Our boy now is a pouncer, chewer, and galloper. I'm fairly certain that no mere houseplant could withstand his current level of energy.

@wilsongoddard I am getting more curious about your whiskers. Any photos to share?

I'm not sure. I like plants, I just don't enjoy the bugs that come with them.

@Shavkat Florida has a lot of them. So it's understandable we don't want them around. Indoor or outdoor. Indoors we have to worry about the cats thinking it's food.

@kaylachan I am not sure how the spidey came into my room last night. I assumed it was attracted by the indoor plants.
I was startled while teaching and mylotting online last night. The root cause was the 'huntsman spider.' It jumped at the side of my computer's CPU and I also...
