I used to love this bread stick when I was a kid but later I didn't often see it being sold. It is available again. It does not appeal to me that much now but I give it a try and see if I can enjoy it like it was before. I'm glad I tried it and it's really delicious.
I'm not sure if it is fried but it is so crispy. It is also coated with white sugar. They called it as Filipino pretzel. It is called pilipit meaning twisted.
This one is really hard and crispy and a little oily. It's a bread stick not a doughnut
Do you have something like this too?

My mother used to buy that pilipit when I was younger. I don't see it now in stores...
