Another day, another two-fer where I’m not very surprising. First up: the “fly” songs, a countdown theme suggested by @JamesHxstatic (and I’m thankful for the suggestion!!). Here’s an oldie but goodie showing up yet again.

Well, hello, Mr. Soul, it’s Neil and the Springfield showing up yet again with this gorgeous, gorgeous ballad from the short but incredibly influential career of one of the pioneering bands in country-rock and the L.A. singer/songwriter scene.

I agree about the strings. Can’t help but wonder if they thought, “Hey, Chet Atkins is putting strings on everything, why can’t we!”
