Ran into an Old Friend

Ran into an old friend today, while grocery shopping caught up a little bit, I was glad to see she's doing well, honestly though I don't see either of us going out of our way to hangout, I've been there with her and remember how it went so I'll be nice, and I'll chat with her, but some friendships you just outgrow.

I had one friendship that we drifted in two directions. She got wild during high school years and I never fit in with that crowd. My parents were Christians, so I was taught different. D's parents didn't stand in the way, they just let her go.

This particular friend had parents that cared, but she struggled with mental health issues, it eventually got to be to much for me…
