Yes, I've bought and sold several homes during my life. At my present stage in life it is better for me to rent than to own. I'm not young anymore and so can't spend all evening and part of my nights fixing or improving my home like I could when I was in my twenties and thirties. It's much easier to let a landlord worry about repairs to the house I rent.
