Convenience? Or Laziness?

Don't we all try to make things easier in our lives? Move things closer, get a better product, renovate, renew, expand, to make things easier and more convenient? Not just for ourselves but for our families and other loved ones too. But, when do those things become simply lazy ways of making it all easier on ourselves? When does convenience become laziness?

Laziness in my view is not having items that makes our lives easier since none of us are real life Iron Men and Iron Women.

@Deepizzaguy ......I agree but, not in everything. I think some conveniences is a nice things but not overdo it. Moderation is a good thing.

Easy is just that and tends to lean toward boring.

I guess that is what I was doing when I went to post this. Remotes are a convenience. Maybe a good one not to use all of the time.

In my opinion,it depends. You can make sth easier and simpler,it's convenience instead of laziness,For example, taking the elevator is convenience.nevertheless,as for sth else, maybe it is laziness,I can't give a proper example for the moment, but you can figure out sth like that.

@jefferson126 ......I think it's nice to have an elevator but we don't need to use it every day.

I think the conveniences you mention are ones that we don't need to take all the time. Use them when we are going to be late for an appointment and appreciate the convenience.

Convenience. Especially after doing a show at community theater and I'm hungry so I just go to the drive thru at McDonald's. Too tired to cook anything.

I think when people stop trying to do for themselves without an understandable reason. Some products that are marketed for the "lazy" person, can be used for the physically disabled to make their lives a little easier. I think it's a simple matter of perspective.

I don't think convenience necessarily equals laziness. We are blessed to have conveniences in our lives which give us more free time.
