Hello all,
I started watching an old show again, have you heard of or seen “M.A.S.H. 4077”? The show originally aired from 1972 to 1983 on the CBS network. The TV series followed up on the less popular movie which was release in 1970 by the name “MASH”.
The series follows a story line about a group of doctors and nurses serving at a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in the Korean War. The comedy/drama ran for 255 episodes over 11 seasons. The last episode, “Goodbye, Farwell, and Amen” was the most-watched television show in American history with 106 million viewers. M.A.S.H received 14 Emmy Awards over its 11-year run.
It also holds the record for the show with the longest run-in syndication. It started running in 1984 and has been in syndication ever since.
I started watching this show in 1982 and have been watching it off and on ever since. My son has even watched it a lot when I introduced him to it years ago. I just find it a funny show and now all these years later I would say its like one of those things that has just been there with me thought the good times and the bad.
Odd I would never have believed a show could be like that. It wasn’t till I was explaining to someone once about watching the show and they were like wow sounds like that is show is a close friend always there for you when you need it and never judges you for it. I thought, yeah, your right.
I think one of my favorite characters on the show would have to be Radar. If you have seen it, would you agree with that? If you have not seen it, it might be time you look for it and watch it. There are some great characters on the show.
Just thought I would share that with you.

I remember watch the show as a kid. I probably didn’t understand half the humor in the show, but still thought it was good anyway.

@Bensen32 If you watch a show long enough (whether it's good or bad), you start to feel an emotional connection to it. That's happened to me a few times over the years with long-running shows.

It was a brilliant show and no wonder so many watched it.
I really did love Alan too.

Yes, I remember when it originally aired. The perfect night of TV was Saturday night on CBS: MASH, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, and Carol Burnett. Some would cap it off with the first show on the li sup, All in the Family, but I never cared for that show.
