My Busy Sunday (Long Post).

I don't feel like doing a weekend post today or tomorrow. On Friday, I went to the diner, worked on my writing orders and watched Blue Bloods. Saturday, I went shopping with my best friend and the Little Guy. We had to switch to another storage (the rates where Momma was were about to increase), and the first month is free. But our goal is to downsize to a smaller/cheaper unit (in the same place) before we're charged for this one. Some of us have a few storage tubs in there, but it's mainly our late parents' stuff. Stuff they put into storage so many years ago. I don't think my parents meant to save all of this stuff, but they probably felt they'd be back for them down the road. Or they forgot about some stuff. I spent a few hours there today, going through several tubs (others are going to as well, but I asked to be dropped off today to go through stuff). I have SO MANY CLOTHES to donate. They're in good condition, they just don't fit me anymore and probably won't fit me again (I was in my teens/20s). I also tossed some of Mom's stuff that I know nobody would want into the bins for storage. Other things from various tubs got thrown out. By the time I made a separate area for the soon-to-be donated stuff, tossed out other things and combined stuff that'll be moved to the new unit, I had emptied out a good 4-5 storage tubs. We still have a bit to go, but I would say I made some progress. After I was picked up and we got home, I went through a few of the things I brought back, and then I tossed my laundry in the dryer and FINALLY straightened up my workspace. I don't feel like snapping any pictures, just know that it's more doable for me. :) Anyway, I started doing all that while watching "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving." I didn't watch WWE Survivor Series tonight, but I can always watch it on Peacock (streaming) another time. New Kids On The Block and New Edition (both Boston bands put together by Maurice Starr) were scheduled to perform together on the American Music Awards, so I wanted to watch that instead. I don't think they performed until at least two hours in, but it was worth the wait because they were so, so good. I'll be looking for that performance on YouTube. I only know a few songs by New Edition, but they sang the songs I know, and I know how big of a deal it was for NKOTB and NE to share the stage (well, if you follow those bands, you'd understand, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea). With that said, I'm going to clean up a few lingering items in my workspace, grab something to eat (I didn't eat dinner earlier because of my stomach ache), get my laundry out of the dryer and call it a night.
