Good day to you all, Hope it has been a good one. Not sure how many of you have heard about the Waukesha Christmas Parade Tragedy. A convicted criminal drove his SUV into the parade at high-speed killing 5 and injuring at least 40. The numbers might have changed but that was the report first thing this morning when I heard about it. This town is about 50 miles from my house. The guy, Darrell Brooks Jr., is the suspect as of now. He has a long criminal history running back to 1999. He was charged with recklessly endangering the safety of others in the past. He was out on a $500 bail for running over a lady at a gas station in Milwaukee, WI sometime last year. This guy has done this on a smaller scale in the past and yet he was out on such a low bail amount. Think someone should investigate that and how it can happen that he is out after years of troubles with the law. Besides all that happening it was not too bad of a Monday for me. Normal workday of being busy on a Monday. Went in about 30 minutes early and ended staying about an hour late. Will be going in a little early in the morning too. Now I will make some dinner and relax a little before I head to bed.

If he has done it before it was only a matter of time before he did it again. He never should have been left out on bail. So tragic and heartbreaking.

Agree, how could they let him out when he has done this before and on such a low amount of bail.

Oh yes, I have read of this one and I thought that too often criminals are not in the place where they should be. When an individual kills someone, he is a potential killer for the rest of his life.

@Bensen32 - I do not think so, even when they feel in danger, most people cannot kill. For others is like drinking a coffee.

So sorry for those who lost their lives. Hoping that the 40 others are not seriously injured and they recover at the earliest

It is a shame that persons cannot enjoy a good time at a parade without some nut driving an auto into a crowd and killing and wounding people.
