It's finally happening! As you remember, closing on the other house was supposed to be today...then they said possibly Monday. I just received a call that closing will be tomorrow! I called all the utility companies this morning and cancelled the final readings; so I will have to call them all back tomorrow and reschedule.
Hubs will be picking up some extra turkey parts today and a whole turkey dinner tomorrow from our local grocery store. He didn't feel up to cooking this year; and I can't handle cooking, etc. anymore. :-(
Got the Christmas cards done already. Usually this is a project that I do over the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Nothing much else going on here. What's going on with you?

We will be going to my mom's house for Thanksgiving. She will make the turkey, butternut squash soup, and rice & pumpkin pilaf. I made cranberry sauce from an Ina Garten recipe. I also wanted to make Brussels sprouts but I forgot to look for them. I did see a Brussels sprouts tree at one of the supermarkets but it was bulky and I couldn't carry it home as I had to carry other stuff.
Glad your closing is finally happening...
