Frugal Shopping: Walmart

We went to Walmart a little while ago to get two fire starters. They are $0.88 and because we've got an over abundance of trash, I decided we should go ahead and burn what is burnable instead of piling it up on the side of the road waiting for Wednesday when our trash gets picked up.
So I got those, and since we were there I made the other half go look at clearance with me. It's become habit for us to look at the clearance section every time we go to Walmart.
I scored three Disney comic books. They come with two coloring pages each and four trading cards. They were on sale for $0.25 each and when I looked them up to see how much they are full price, they were listed as $6.50.
So I think I did really good on those. I got them to either go with one of the other half's cousins daughters gifts, or I'll use them as stocking stuffers for she child. One is Frozen themed, one is Disney Princesses and one is Mickey Mouse. So she'll get a kick out of them.

Silly northern states.
We aren't in city limits so they can't say anything.
It might piss the neighbors off. But we piss the neighbors off by breathing.

What are firestarters? I have never considered burning trash but I live in a city and I can imagine my neighbors would call and complain. Plus, with compost I really don't create much of it.
For some reason, when I first looked at this, I thought it was cereal! Lol.
I haven't found any deals lately but I love shopping at Walmart for food items...it's ALWAYS the cheapest

Lol, it does kid of look like cereal.
Firestarters are wood firelighters. They just help fire start lol.
There's some food that I like at Walmart, buuuuuuut. Meat I would rather get somewhere else. I haven't seen your name pop up recently. Glad to see you;re still around

@thislittlepennyearns Yes, we have Target, Aldi, Woolworths, Myers. Lots I suppose but no Walmart.
