Unusual? You Decide (MyLot Exclusive #768)

Today...Just a little while ago, in fact, I saw a very unusual set of instructions designed to teach people how to eat an ice cream cone.
I've encountered some dissent to that opinion, which I'll get to in a minute but first, I'm going to show you what these instructions were, exactly as I saw them:
TGIF
Tongue Goes In First
Now, I admit that's cryptic but what else could it be besides ice cream cone eating directions? I don't think it matters any but for the sake of completeness, I'll mention that they were emblazoned right across the front of a lady's underpants. They felt like 100% cotton and I don't think that matters, either, but just in case it's important, now you know.
Now for the dissent. My Editor-In-Chief, Style Manual, says it has nothing to do with ice cream. Usually. I would tell you her entire theory, which includes a section on whipped cream but the Censor would go nuts.
It's unnecessary anyway because you'd just say the same thing I did, "Who needs to be told that? Nope, it has to be ice cream cone eating instructions."
She said, in a sad kind of voice, "Way too many. Way too many."
Her claims seem unbelievable to me but be that as it may, those are just the facts, ma'am, and you can make up your own mind.

-------------I suppose that's just the price I pay for being 1000% Innocent. It's so hard to believe that everyone supposes there must be something else going on.
I can't even write about ice cream cones without people thinking it must be about something else.

"Teeth go in first" is correct with an ice cream cone. I bite the top of it off first every time.

@DaddyEvil It depends if there was ice cream in the cone. If there was then surely you go in with the tongue first?

There’s a lot going on in this discussion: TGIF has always been known as Thank God It’s Friday. Not anymore!
I like how you ‘felt’ the material to check that it was cotton. You don’t want synthetic fibres between your teeth, that’s for sure. 
It’s not Unusual is a great song by Tom Jones which was given a new lease of life by Carlton’s dance in Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I’ve tried many times to try and recreated that dance but always end up causing myself a mischief. You need to be a special person to do that dance. Or maybe someone unusual?2 people like this

All I was saying is that my Editor is wrong like she always is and I'm right, like I always am.
I don't miss hearing it on the radio every hour but I do like hearing this song once in a while.

I would say quit trying to fool people about your intended discussion and you'd fare better at it. In my opinion, of course.
