The West is Paying for its Sins as New Form of Covid 19 Spreads from Africa

Africa has a population of 1.2 billion but I understand only 6% of the population is vaccinated. In contrast the the developed countries have roughly vaccinated 60 to 70% of their population. Now the West is imposing a travel ban on people from Africa in the hope that the new virus which is supposed to be mutated in South Africa can be controlled. This is a very shortsighted policy and the West should have realized earlier that you cannot live in isolation and at the same time corner all the vaccines leaving nothing but crumbs for the African nations. They are forgetting that you cannot live in watertight compartments and humanity is one Whatever action the West may take it must understand that it cannot live in isolation and it should have helped the African nations more, otherwise despite all their plans the capitals from London to America will be flooded with the virus. I hope Africa is helped as these travel bans are going to lead nowhere.
