Good day to you all, I have made it halfway through the week, I guess that is good. I did work about 30 minutes of overtime today and might be doing a little more tomorrow. With so many people just not wanting to work these days those of us that are working are trying to cover for the positions they can not fill. There is just so much work pushed on us all that it can’t be done in a normal work week. Oddly enough I still hear people saying there are not any jobs out there. When they should be saying there are no jobs out there that I want cause there are a ton of places hiring around here. I will admit that some of them I wouldn’t want either. For them to just say there are no jobs out there make them look foolish. I must pass 10-20 places everyday on my way to work that have help wanted signs up. So there are places hiring. Jobs are incredibly abundant. But like you said, people just don't want some of them.

I mean part of me likes the idea of not having to work but sitting home doing nothing is not every fun for to long, I get bored.

@Bensen32 I hate sitting at home too. I need to be active. Of course, if I didn’t have to work, I’d be out on one big adventure after another.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't work the overtime if I wasn't getting paid for it.

I know. People have gotten used to the free ride, and won't work. It's real sad, if you stop to think about it. If more people worked, even at jobs they didn't like, they would be helping repair the damage to our ecconomy.

Right, but to many believe they are owed something and want everything for free then cry when they are not getting it.
