All I want to do

All I want to do is get caught up here, and it is not happening very fast. I am stopping in and reading some of your posts because I have not done that all week. I have enjoyed reading about your food feasts, and family fun. It has been good to see what you are doing. We have many people out at school, due to covid. WE are wearing masks and isolating within the school. The water fountains are bagged up and closed off. I am sure Thanksgiving helped with the holiday spread.

@cacay1 it's safer to have online classes. Prior to the closing of schools, 4 teachers and 1 student lost their lives to covid

It seems Covid is competing with the flu. This is the time of year when many people generally get all kinds of problems with the flu, colds and soar throats. A while back I heard a little, not very much, about the return of the bird flu but that was probably just a fluke that some media jerk posted to scare people, as if we didn't already have enough to scare us.

And the same things are good for preventing all of these things. . . even the colds. Wash your hands, keep your distance, wear a mask, cough in your sleeve. Add get plenty of rest, eat a healthy diet and do not skimp on sleep. On top of all that, get vaccines for things that you can. We do not need scary rumors like that because real life is scary enough.

Some really good points but I still have reservations about the covid vacinnes, they just haven't put in enough time to get proper results.

That is a great shame if there are more and more cases of COVID.

Another thing parents should do is keep their kids home if they are sick. It does not always happen.

It is a shame that another wave of sickness is making its presence known now during the holiday season.

@GardenGerty I hope not since I watched a video on AOL.com where a report stated that the current virus is not as bad as COVID 19 since there are more cases of cancer than the current sickness according to doctors in the U S.
