It’s very disappointing...

When something you ordered that you really wanted is not what you thought it would be...
The All-Clad sauté pan I ordered from Amazon, which I was excited about, is gonna be returned back to them.
When I bought it, I thought it would be the same size as the fry pan I have, which is 12 inches. Turns out it’s much smaller than that. But according to the product description on Amazon it should have been 12 inches wide as well. Why are the product dimensions incorrect? Even the All-Clad website says 12 inches.
I already started a return on Amazon. Now I have to go to Kohl’s to return the item. The money will be refunded once Amazon receives the sauté pan back.
I’m bummed. Now I have to search for another sauté pan. All-Clad doesn’t seem to have a bigger one in this specific model.

No. The item is the right one. Dimensions are incorrect. I even saw a review from someone saying exactly the same thing.

@RebeccasFarm It wouldn't bother me as much if I wasn't looking for a big saute pan. But product dimensions should still be accurate.

But even the All-Clad website has the same dimensions. And they are clearly wrong. A customer reviewed the sauté pan on amazon and said dimensions are wrong.

I hope so. For now we just gotta drive to our Kohl's to return this item. They have an Amazon outpost there. I guess they will be responsible for shipping the item back to Amazon. We should get a refund once the item is received.

@LindaOHio we didn’t buy anything there. But item was returned and refund is complete. Not sure if credit card refund is there yet. Gotta ask hubby to check. Might take 3-5 days.

I tried measuring with my ruler app on the iPhone. Don’t remember exactly what it said but measuring the bottom and then the top neither came to 12 inches. Either 10 something or 11 something.

That’s why I prefer to shop for stuff in the actual store. I can see the item before buying it and if it is not good or I don’t like it I put it back on the shelf or rack.
