Hello cold morning everyone ! It's 7:50 am Philippine time and its so cold right now. The christmas breeze isnt joking . It started to get cold the minute it changed month so now everybody in our household is feeling cold.
As the weather changes , there comes our allergies. Allergic rhinitis, allergic to cold weather , excessive sneezing in the morning and at night . So I, for instance cant stand the cold weather so I wear thick clothes , shirts and pajamas and sweaters.
December is the time sone flowers bloom and grow , the pollens from flowers makes us suffer too because when the air blows it comes with some pollens and like me who have allergies , its a trigger for sneezing and colds .
That's why as a home remedy , I made ginger tea . Not the powder type , but with real ginger cut into small halves and boiled in hot water to drink. No sugar added.
This is for us to keep warm and for our throats since its cold we can get sore throat and dry itchy throat . We also bought anti allergy medicines and lozenges. Those are just our simple way of taking care of ourselves.
Can I ask members here who is living in a cold weather country , What measures or ways do you do to keep you warm and free from colds and cough during the cold weather?
This is the picture of my ginger tea.I uploaded it.

Ginger tea sounds nice. I drink it when I get an upset stomach.

The only sure way to do that is to stay away from people because they are contagious the days before they show symptoms. Some also use tumeric daily in pull form or as a tea or in their dogs to try to minimize the effects of colds and coughs.
