December 8 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I had a good day today.
I'm thankful for staying home again this morning. The parking lot looked icy and with the wind chill in the single digits, not the best day to travel in the dark. Instead, I walked the hallway. I got four laps and over 4000 steps. 
I'm thankful for being here this morning. I enjoy seeing what you're up to in your part of the world.
I'm thankful for the refund I got on my grocery delivery order. When it arrived, one of the bags broke and cans and bottles rolled on the floor. One was a jar of Ghee. I asked if it was broken, the delivery guy said no, only dented in the cap. I found out different when I got back to my apartment. I also found the two bags of grapes I ordered were spoiled. I don't know who picked the food, but those are not what I would pick for anyone. They also forgot the cantaloupe I ordered. It took time as the computer didn't want to refund the items, but eventually, the clerks convinced the computer to refund me.
I'm thankful for the work I did on my friend's book today. It's going well. I should be finished with this final proof by the end of the weekend.
I'm thankful for my haircut. It looks great! I look human again.

@just4him I bet you made a nice looking sheepdog. 
I'm growing my hair out so I can give it to a friend for a wig. She's having chemo and keeps losing what little hair she can grow. My hair has to reach 10 inches long before it can be harvested for her.

That's long. I know it would drive me crazy to have it that long, so I'm sure it's made you crazier.

I am thankful I got several prolific studies to do. I am also thankful I am making progress on getting a dishwasher repair man out here.

@just4him Yes, i am not sure I like this company that much though. I want to find one that includes the charge to come out with the overall dishwasher repair.

Sounds like a good day. Plenty to be thankful for.
I love my cat, Mama, but I'm thankful she's decided to find a place to nap that isn't my laptop. I don't want to deny her, or any of my cats attentions, but I also need my laptop to pay bills and do other things.

Glad you got your refund. I dont trust anyone to pick out my food for me.
Thankful to hibernate again. Oh and warm enough to melt that dusting of white crap that tried to visit here.

I'm sure your haircut is pretty, we all enjoy an occasional trip to the beautician! I'm thankful for leftovers, we had a wonderful supper tonight and I didn't need to cook:)
