As most of you know, I like to go out daily to play Pokemon go. When I can, I use sidewalks. I am cautious when crossing streets. Probably more than most, due to being blind and in a wheelchair. However, no matter how careful I am, there's always going to be that one a-hole. And, today I ran into such a person.
On my route, there's an entrance to a curch. I thought I had the all-clear to cross to get home, but some idiot decided to zoom past me to get into the parking lot. I am unharmed, and was able to stop in time, but I still hate when it happens.

I know how you feel since people these days are self centered and not caring about other persons who they run into.
I am starting to wonder where good manners went these days.

@kaylachan It bugs me that people today are so rude just because I disagree with them over petty issues which is one reason I like to vanish from social media from time to time and come here.

More like trying to sneak into the curch parking lot, thinking they had time. Could've not seen me until they were in front of me.

Thank goodness you were ok - but UGH. There are too many of those drivers who speed up when they shouldn't. Out here I see on the news of way too many hit-and-run incidents . . . unbelievable how fast these cars are going if they are caught on video

Yes, I know what you mean. You don't hear about it as often, here but it does happen. I'm just lucky I'd been able to stop and wasn't going that fast myself.

I've seen this done to people on bicycles, also. It's dangerous, even though the driver is just being awful!

@kaylachan One lady hit my cousin from behind, Wanda was riding a bicycle. She was quite old, so her intentions weren't bad. She felt terrible about it! Wanda still can't walk right, her hip was badly injured.

It's hit-or-miss. Some of the gyms have a quick turn around, while others, not so much.
