Good Tuesday to you all, hope your day is going well. Not sure how many of you will remember me posting about the company Better.com, where the CEO invited 900 employees to a Zoom call and then told them they were all fired. Well seems he has taken a leave of absence for now. The company was working on going public and seem Mr. Garg has had issues in the past, having bad people skills. I guess last year he sent out and email to employees that said: "You are TOO DAMN SLOW. You are a bunch of DUMB DOLPHINS and ... DUMB DOLPHINS get caught in nets and eaten by sharks. SO STOP IT. STOP IT. STOP IT RIGHT NOW. YOU ARE EMBARRASSING ME." I’m no business or communications expert but I would have to say that is not the way to deal with your employees. I know I would not respond well to that king of email. I guess we will see what happens to him, if he ever comes back to be the CEO or not. Hope you all have a good day/night.

This is not the way to communicate with your employees, not at all.

@Bensen32 This message is rude, as you say, it shows no respect at all for the workers.

@LadyDuck That guy is the founder of the business but if he is smart he will step down and let someone else take it over before he runs it into the ground.

nope. there needs to be some common respect and he does not respect them at all, and it shows in the way he communicates with them.

That's so funny he must be mentally unstable. So the 900 employees really got fired ?

Oh yeah, they got fired. I have not seen anything about them getting their jobs back.

Yes, it does. I don't think he is good for business.
