Just Received a Covid-19 Booster Shot

I'm glad this decision was finally made. I decided to go get a Covid-19 booster shot this morning. There were two people waiting in line, me and an elderly gentleman. The reason I used the word gentleman, this man insisted that I go first! I had filled out the paperwork and then waited another fifteen minutes. It was simple, easy and virtually painless. Right now, my left arm isn't even sore! Photo: Borrowed from Pixabay

It was so simple, I didn't feel much of anything. Just a tiny pick, it was done.

@Tina30219 After the second Moderna shot, both of us had physical distress. The third day, we were fine.

When people are thoughtful and kind, it's unusual behavior in 2021.

Yes, booster injections are important nowadays, because we don't know what will happen in the future and we have to be on guard. I have a little sore arm from the injection site after a day I got it maybe it's because of a different type of booster than what you get.

@kobesbuddy Yeah, it's different from the booster I received, Astrazeneca, and the side effect it causes is a sore arm and it's only possible for two days.

@kobesbuddy We only need to wait 3 months, they changed that as of yesterday. But I have to wonder where it all ends.

@kobesbuddy My second dose, Oxford Zennica, was problem free, the third one gave me an ache in the elbow and wrist, that was a Pfizer.

The man was so thoughtful. He said that I should step up to the window ahead of him. This amazed me, most people aren't thoughtful of others!

I have to wait another month and a half to get my booster. My pulmonary doctor told me to MAKE SURE I got it the day I was eligible to get it!!! Hope you don’t have any side effects.

When I got the booster shot, my arm hurt for a while but that was all. Still, take care of using masks, keep social distance and wash your hand with soap when you come home. My eldest daughter had the booster shot and she nevertheless had covid. But it was not so terrible and she could take care of the rest of the family who got it too. All of them had the vaccine but my grandson from Spain and his GF had only one.

My daughter had both shots, then she contracted Covid. Working with sick patients in a hospital full of covid, it was bound to happen. She was home for ten days, with barely any bad symptoms.

Good, I am glad you got it. How are your cases in MI? I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but it usually takes a little while for the soreness to develop, but I hope yours is not too bad.

In our community, the numbers are way down. Yes, the soreness does remain, no matter which shot we get. The worst was the Shingles vaccine, I suffered for two weeks.
