Not so happy this morning.

Yesterday was the last day of the school term for both girls. So no more getting up in the pitch dark this year! Hurrah! I really do not enjoy dragging myself out of bed when it’s still night, so I was really looking forward to a lovely relaxing morning, waking up when I felt ready and reading a few stories with the girls. Well guess what? I woke up about 5:30 am. Lay in bed for about an hour until I decided this was a complete waste of time, so I got up and since then I have been doing some work, reading the news and now doing some baking to take to a friend’s later. We have planned a get-together with our families to play some board games this afternoon/evening. It’s great to have got a few things done, but not at all what I had in mind.
