A spontaneous party at my drug dealer's place last night! It was fun!

As I was buying my evening wine last night, the TV was on (as it always is) at Raj's store. The Warriors, our local NBA basketball team, were finishing up a game with the Boston Celtics, so we all stopped to watch. It was me, Raj, another Indian dude (his son?), and a tallish younger black dude who was also buying libations. As we watched, the Warriors' 10-point lead slipped to three, but time was running out. We, especially me and the other customer, were doing a running commentary, and were ticked off when one of the Warriors launched a three instead of milking the clock and then "going to the hole." When one of the Warriors (I forget which) hit two free throws to bring the lead to four with 2.8 seconds left, the four of us breathed a collective sigh on relief. I said "Now I can go home!" and fist bumped the other customer. He and I waved thanks to Raj and his buddy, and the party was over. I'm not as big a sports fan as I used to be, but it is kind of cool that sports can bring four random people together for an enjoyable moment.
