Brendel is not Feeling Good

Brendel is sick today again. She is trying to cough up what I thought was a hairball. Nothing but mucus. In 2012 her vet did a TransTracheal wash under anesthesia. Removed fluid from her lungs. Could not get it all. Diagnosis: Chronic Bronchitis. She took steroids awhile but I stopped them after her breathing and appetite worsened. All she wants today is to sleep in my lap in between coughing spells. So that is how my day is going. Also the Dude joined us on a pillow beside her. Giving her support I suppose. He knows she doesn’t feel good. A vet appointment is going to be scheduled in the morning. With her diagnosis of chronic bronchitis and kidney disease I want to be sure there is nothing else going on. Photo is mine. You can see the Dude lending his support to Brendel.

It has to help to see him offering comfort, but I know that you will feel better after seeing the vet. Good luck with the appointment.

@CarolDM When I saw the title of this post I started to think oh no that Brendel is sick again. It looks like Dude is showing support. I hope Brendel will be ok. I am so so sorry. Is there like an air purifier that would help Brendel with her bronchitis?

Update on Brendel / myLot

Took Brendel to her vet today. Her chronic bronchitis and kidney disease both have worsened. Just what I was afraid of. No cure for either one of these...
