Good day to you all, I got lots of stuff going on at work. Another busy day at work but at least the day went by pretty quickly. Just one more day until the 3-day weekend. A most of you know, I don’t celebrate Christmas, but it will be nice to have the 3-day weekend. After this week at work, I will need the extra day to rest. I do plan to do a whole lot of nothing on Friday. On Monday we were told that one of the guys at work is going to be out for the next couple weeks to having Covid and then today I found out another one of the guys that was there Monday and not feeling well has now been out because he got Covid. I guess we are going to be short two guys for a while. Hopefully they will be okay. We have 12 people on our team and oddly there are 6 that have not been vaccinated and 6 that are vaccinated. Two of the people that are vaccinated are the ones who got Covid. One of those two was bragging about getting the booster last week and I am not sure about the other guy. Seems odd that the ones that have been vaccinated are the ones that got Covid. We also found out that the company is saying that starting on January 4th we must show proof that we were vaccinated or that we will have to get tested every 7 days. Now I have not got too much information on this yet, but I am wondering who is paying for this and where do we get tested? I guess we will be getting more information in the next few business days. I know I am not getting the vaccine and depending on who is going to pay for these tests I might not get that either. I’m not paying for it. If they are requiring it, I think they should have to pay for it. I know that the 6 on our team all feel this way and I talked to a few others in our building that are saying the same thing so if they push this, they might be losing quite a few people.
