Well, as you know, we are ready for Christmas...didn't have hardly anything to get ready.
We finally decided what our menu will be for Christmas and New Year's.
For Christmas Eve we are having takeout from our local Italian restaurant. On Christmas Day we will be having ham and sweet potatoes. For New Year's Eve we will have (maybe) pizza; and for New Year's Day we will have the traditional pork and sauerkraut.
Do you have your menu all scheduled for the holidays or are you still winging it?

Yes, my menus are all ready, I am making the crumpets today to serve tomorrow evening with the smoked salmon. We will also have a shrimp cocktails with pink sauce and some puff pastry appetizers. A rocket salad with blue cheese and walnuts to close and a vanilla and cinnamon ice cream as dessert.

Our butcher had them on sale. Hubs ordered 7, one of which is huge! One a month so we don’t get sick of them.

Thanks! Happy Holidays to you and your hubs. They had prime rib for $6.99 a pound at Aldi's.. Hubs has filled up the freezer so much that we couldn't get the prime rib. :-( Hope you enjoyed yours.

@DianneN That's a big expenditure! Our freezer is too full to fit anything else. Hubs keeps buying meat but doesn't cook it.

Your menu sounds good. Not sure what will be on the menu tomorrow and Saturday. New Year's Eve we will be at a restaurant. I already saw the menu but don't remember what's there except for rack of lamb lol.

Christmas eve is appetizers and christmas movies

We wanted to have prime rib or tenderloin for New Year's Eve but couldn't....long story. Your Christmas Eve and Day sound great!

I have key lime pie in the freezer for dessert, so that’s about all I’m sure I’ll have. Sadly, not IN Key West, but it’s too warm here to run away just yet.
