Merry Christmas, she says

Angel says Merry Christmas as she comes in the door at 7 this morning. She had been gone again.
She grew up as an indoor, outdoor, independent foraging kitty.
Once in a while she is gone longer than we like. She had been gone for two nights. Nights are when kitties like to prowl.
She is usually home and inside by 7 in the evening, but the weather has been warm and conducive to adventuring.
Based on the fullness of her fur and Lady's fur I was expecting a very cold winter, but we have not had that yet.
I am afraid we may get that winter weather in the spring.
Due to being a little under the weather and having a slight fever I have slept most of the day. I feel much better now. I hope you are all having nice days.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling sick. Yet, getting some rest has helped you feel better! Angel is like the cat I use to have. Mindy would take off for three days, then come back home. One time it was a week, I thought she was gone for good

Bob gets so worried and gets up all night calling for her.Or for any of the cats for that matter. Lady tends to be the one that never misses a night at home. Tinker and Angel worry us.

@GardenGerty Mindy lived to be 18 yrs old. I had to have her euthanized, she was suffering terribly with crippled joints, she couldn't potty or stand up.

@kobesbuddy Our last kitty that we had to have put down had a tumor in her ear canal, but we had one that got so much arthritis he could not use his rear legs.

I'm glad you're feeling better.
Pretty and I have also had a quiet day. (I was on myLot late last night and she was playing online games so after we had our Christmas meal, we both fell asleep. She's still asleep and I just woke up.)

Well maybe your horses can comfort me with the idea of mild weather. Of course that will mean more insects next spring and summer.
