Day 197
Psalm 89:46 How long, LORD? Will You hide Yourself forever? Shall Your wrath burn like fire?
47 Remember how short my time is. Wherefore have You made all men in vain?
48 What man is he who lives, and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.
49 Lord, where are Your former loving-kindnesses, which You swore unto David in Your truth?
50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of Your servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
51 Wherewith Your enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.
52 Blessed be the LORD forevermore. Amen, and Amen.
When trouble mounts up and you don’t know where to turn, you might think your life is over too and start thinking about death more than life.
Ethan, another singer, and priest in Israel saw the siege on Jerusalem and went into exile to Babylon. He praised God for all He did for Israel and David, His anointed. Then questioned God about his life and asked God to spare his life and look on His people.
As Christians, you need to remember God’s mercies and your salvation. Remember how God brought you through your many battles with Satan. He will sustain you and bring you through your most trying circumstances, even when life looks bleak.
It’s okay to question God and wonder where He is when life takes a turn for the worse and you don’t know which way is up. God knows what you’re going through. He will help you. You only need to ask. Remember His promises when you pray and seek His help. He promised to protect you and avenge your enemies. Remember to ASK, ask, seek, knock. He’s waiting to hear from you.
Let’s pray: Father, life seems bleak, especially with the pandemic we’re facing. Help me stand on Your promises to heal and strengthen Your people. Avenge me when Satan comes against me. Give me hope in my salvation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

You are so right Valerie. Life seems so bleak in this pandemic time. We need to hold tight to our faith and sail through this crisis.
