My Christmas

We called off our usual Christmas dinner and will have it sometime later in the year due to the covid. I went to my sons house for dinner on Christmas Eve. We had a delicious dinner then went for a drive to see al” the beautiful Christmas lights. They were beautiful strung everywhere. Then they loaded up food to bring home with me. It was a lovely evening but I was tired and went to bed a little earlier than usual.
On Christmas Day my other son and his wife and my grands came down and brought me food so now my refrigerator is loaded. It was a nice visit. I enjoyed spending time with all of them. The little ones had a good time. My gift to baby girl was a soft stuffed bear. She grabbed it and held it the whole time they were here.
For my grand boy I gave him folding money. He had a new wallet and wanted something to go in it. He was happy with his money and showed me how it looked with money in it. We had a good visit. We talked about my son who passed away last year and Leo who passed away in September. We have our memories of them.
I hope all of you had a special Christmas.

I am so glad you had such a wonderful time with your family, Memories always shine even if sometimes they bring tears. I spent my Christmas watching movie and will do the same for New Year's Eve and then bravely face a new 2022 you know being alone it almost scares me to realize how far we are now in 2000 the years just seem to fly by,

@RubyHawk what is really touching I suggest that just before midnight you get on YouTube or find a live stream and look up the ball dropping in my hometown NYC on Times Square that is always a great way to ring in the new year,
Here is the info from the Internet
Times Square NYE 2022 will safely invite revellers back to Times Square to watch the Ball Drop in person, with safety restrictions. The highly anticipated festivities will also be broadcast for television and internet audiences and will include a virtual multi-media experience.

@RubyHawk It's indeed a blessing to be so loved and cared for by your sons and their families. You sure have raised them well. May you and your family be safe and happy always.
Yes, my husband and I too had a merry Christmas with both our son's family.
Sorry about your loss. Take Care.
