Donot over spend in December.Prepare for January. It is said that January is like two months in one. After all the festivity in December, over spending on gifts and food you realize you are totally broke in January and you have bills to pay .So if you have not made preparation as yet cut the spending spree from now.Money blues month is just around the corner.

You are wise... I hadn't heard that before about January, but it does make sense. I like to buy gifts ahead. I buy things as I see them, things people might like - then I have them on hand already

@askme123 I'm sorry, how did my reply make you think that I don't have much responsibility or bills to take care of? I just said I hadn't heard the expression before, but thought it was a good idea. Then I added that I buy items slowly through the year, so that I don't have a lot to go out and buy all at once. ????

I've never heard of this, but I have to say that it's definitely good advice. It's something that we should all keep in mind going forward.

That is so true. I think it is not lucky to have little money before the year ends. I want to welcome the new year with my pocket full of money

Lol, yes, you are absolutely right. In January, we usually get a little dizzy thinking about the large bill. Thanks for the good advice.

I don't have money blues in January. I only pay cash for everything I get in December.

That's a good idea too. But I think we should always spend our money wisely all the time. Because we will never know when are we going to need to spare our extra money or savings for important purposes.
