I put in $50 into a slot machine. It was a very interesting game (bars, 7s, pigs) and I didn’t want to stop playing. At one point I went up to $88. I should’ve cashed out then but I wanted to keep on playing and playing... I spent a lot of time on that slot machine. Many times I was almost out of money and yet I kept winning something so there was more play for me. In the end I walked away with nothing. But I had so much fun, playing for hours probably... and that was awesome!

I won at other slots though. Cashed out a little over $300 in total. I don't remember exactly how much I spent so not sure what my real profit is.

Casinos do deliver entertainment for the price... The trick is to walk out while you still own your own clothes and the place you store them when you aren't wearing them.

When you win you want to win even more lol. Before you know it all your winnings go down to zero. I was always playing on the lowest bet. On a few occasions selected the next bet. So, I got to play for a while. Hubby put in money and decided to bet maximum. He lost that money super fast.

@lovebuglena I don't know how I'd be in a casino but when I win playing cards it makes me less likely to bet on succeeding hands. I want to hang onto whatever I've won. 
I've always thought it was kind of funny when someone tries to "win big" and loses all their money in one go. Winning small amounts several times seems like a better strategy to me.

@DaddyEvil sometimes you play the slots and keep on winning. But your winnings are smaller than what you are betting, so in reality your balance just keeps going down.

Definitely but then you leave with nothing in the end. If you win good amount better to cash that out and then put in a fresh bills into the machine to play again.

@lovebuglena When we were in Vegas I won $60 and wanted to stop there. Hubs kept asking me for change and lost all that I had won. :-(

Great, you enjoyed your time, winning or losing doesn't matter. You brought nothing and took back nothing so it evens out.
